Procurement Team of the Year Award

Team working is vital to the success of public procurement, and the Procurement Team of the Year Award recognises the power and potential of a focused and unified approach.

This Award recognises leadership, communication, innovation, collaboration, personal development and a collective team ethic and approach to deliver excellence in public services.

Teams can be virtual as well as single site and cover single or multiple organisations but they must comprise of individuals working towards the same objective or goal. Submissions can cover a specific project or initiative delivered by a team or focus on its overall approach and success.

Recognition is given based on the accomplishments of the team in relation to its size and the complexity of its procurement activities. Evidence of gains made through a team approach should be provided to substantiate the entry.

Open to: Welsh public sector organisations or Welsh public organisations working in partnership with the private or voluntary sector.

Timescale: A GO Awards submission in this category must cover activity during the period July 2022 to January 2024.
