This award celebrates individuals who are in the early stages of a career in public procurement – whether they have joined through a graduate scheme, an apprenticeship, a career change, or any other route. It recognises those who are showing genuine promise, enthusiasm and impact, and who are already beginning to shape what good procurement looks like. The judges are not looking for perfection or polish: they are looking for authenticity, curiosity and the kind of contribution that suggests a bright future in the profession.
Eligibility: Open to individuals in the early stages of a public procurement career, including those who have entered via Modern Apprenticeships, Graduate Programmes and Employability Schemes or who are embarking on a change in career.
Qualifying period: January 2025 to March 2026
